Guide to Composite Decking!!

No Maintenance Decks only sells the most popular brands of decking Trex, Timbertech & Azek.  We stock 90% of Trex & Timbertech profiles.  These three brands have about 85% of the decking market on Long Island.  The category is called composite decking, within the category there is three sub categories, standard composite decking, capped composite decking and PVC decking. 

Standard composite decking is obsolete, my recommendation is not to buy it.  Standard composite decking will fade, stain & mold although it is still better than pressure treated wood. 

Capped composite decking is standard composite decking with a cover or cap of polyethylene and proprietary additives.  This decking has a 25 – 30 year fade and stain warranty.  PVC decking has been the industry standard for many years.
